Hello all! I am here to check whether there is any welfare benefits for low income earners? Hmm, I am asking this on behalf of my uncle who is in his seventies, has no spouse or children. Does his income need to be below a certain threshold?(if so, how much? and where to apply?)
thank you in advance!

Thank you for the responses! Hmm is there any any eldery homes for people with dementia, and low, if not, no fees? Oh and is it possible for him to apply for financial aid to pay for the fees in the senior home?
shouldn't you also at least make an effort to research more details on what are available too by yourself, instead of being fully spoonfed by all of us who make a small effort to jumpstart this problem-solving research by providing you with almost all of the available social help/ assistances already?

Too lazy to search for themselves despite having internet.
That is characteristics of the new generation.
Ask for help instead of self help.
That is why there is a home work forums for the lazy bums.

huh? to think you are from JC taking 'A' Level...
if last time you choose to go polytechnic for diploma, you sure learn to be very independent for problem-solving and research work.

Too late! haha. Yeah. JC is more of grasping knowledge your lecturers throw at you and answer the twisted qns, with not much room to ask why. (imo) you do not benefit much from the extra information derived from self research in the jc curriculum. Miserable education system right? And yeah i digress

that depends on one's interpretation of research. In my perspective, acquisition of knowledge is indeed research haha. Well, i just graduated from jc so extra information would do me no harm :P
