Told you before

Have you ever encountered with your relatives or friends, or associates that said I told you before during the conversation and they refuse to repeat it.
I mean not everybody are blessed with a super computer memory, so whats wrong asking again, esp when it was maybe last month or last week. How can you remember all the things all the time?
do you feel pissed that even if you have asked the qns twice (as you cant remember), why cant they just repeat it instead of saying I told you before, full stop. thats is a conversation killer isnt it.

usu girls will say this isnt it. I dun think guys will say this cos I have not encountered any guys who said I told you before, only girls. whats wrong with repeating when you cant remember the things you said 1 or 2 months ago. we are not built with a photographic memory.

but not all girls are like this, thank goodness. out of 1000 girls, maybe 5-10 are like this.

haha I will, but women's memory are very powderful, cos they remember all the good and bad things. they will remember the things you said even a few years ago. scary isnt it. thats why women are said to be petty, cos they remember the things you said long time ago.

It sometime happen to me too!
What I do was, I'll joint down important information, so I wouldn't ask for a second time.
When somebody ask me something, I'll just tell them again :) no big deal repeating

For elderly short term memory lapse is common.

Some are genuine short term memory.
But in normal cases, it just shows that the other party aren't interested in the information you are providing and this doesn't reflect well on personal image.
Whenever I have a new piece of information, the first thing I do is to write it down on my notepad, then transfer it to my laptop sticky

how do you jot down when you are having a conversation with your friends or colleagues? you mean you jot down everything conversed lol, thats impossible, unless you record it down using a tape recorder or hp recording.
I mean what is the big deal in repeating isnt it. its not like I am telling the person 10 or 20 times already and that person dun remember. wonder what on earth these people are thinking of when they say, I told you already or before. that is a real conversation killer.

Repeat once or twice is still okay. Anything more i will just tell the person i got tell hi before many times, too bad if dun remember

I take out my phone and start typing important info It's my habit, Jacky. As long as information comes in, just store it in phone and process later on laptop.
