  Hello. V Day is approaching and I need help preparing for my first one. I'm thinking of getting purple lilacs. Kinda apt since she likes purple and it's significance as the first love. I did a quick search on google and those shops list up till the 100s!

  oh i thought girls in general actually take importance in the little things like the meaning of flowers. the color, type number.

  mmm little box eh. not yet la. still not gf yet leh how i wish i can but now is not the appropriate time.

  and i think this is the first and few times i will get flowers.

  oh i stay pasir ris and am willing to travel to boon lay to see her :) what are flowers that are out of my way.

  ah cap, dun buy flowers online  go to the florist yourself in person.

  Must get the 'feel' first. Tell the florist the colours and occassional, and he/she will advice you according. Then the florist will also recommend adding side decor which may add a few dollar to the overall price.  V-day flowers are rip off, so prepare more $$.

  First time shy, second time you'll walk in the florist shop like a boss~

  Save money? grow flowers urself...

  Send it to the girl, but beforehand (sometime ago), let her know that you are doing gardening...

  It's alot of effort and discipline (yes, discipline is required) to grow your own plants and flowers...

   

  Most will appreciate the effort and time taken...

  Of coz this will not work with GCPs... -____-

  Dun waste your money and also the nature, can get it from those funnerals, most ended with lots of flowers, it free, got so many types and colorful too.
