Sound Proofing a room for Home Theater

Hi, anyone here can advice what is the material use to sound proof a HDB room for Home Theater use. Pls recommend the cheapest and effective method the actual material, cost and where to get them.

if put in living-room...............not possible to soundproof at all..............

My friend put mattress in his entire theatre room. Feng tau. And I am not talking about the cheap ass thin mattress. U can literally throw yourself against the wall.
Cheapest method... egg cartons. LOL

egg cartons are to absorb reflections off the wall.................no use for soundproofing.......
as long as got windows.............no point lah...........waste of money.......

AV headphones only your ear drums feel the base. Which more song.. Head to toe .... or just ear drums ?

Double window, High Quality sound absorbing cotton walling panel
can use foam too, but not very good. -
Make the whole room airtight can sound proof but the door and window wont be easy though
