Just want to share a sad but humbling experience I had when visiting CCK cemetery with a fren today.
Amongst the many graves we passed by were one or two that struck out prominently...
These were the resting places of little children who passed away too soon. Their plot were marked by adorable plastic toys and fixtures. A little girl, barely 9 years of age, had hers surrounded by little white fences with a 'welcome' sign at the entrance. It looks more like a tiny playground than a sombre grave plot... her family have thoughtfully erected some of her favourite cartoon characters as well.
I stood dumbly in front... thoughts running thru my mind...
It must be very hard for her family when death occured to someone so young and barely knows what death is... my heart really goes out to her loved ones...
