during recess my friend wanted to use my phone and he asked me for my phone password. i said "no" and he threaten to dail 999 on the emergency dailer. i didn't really expect him to do it, and he called and held the phone for a minute until i forced open his hands and hung up.
oh no, what should i do?
depends on whether if they wanna trace the number or not, they will classify it as prank calling

prank call?
will i get fined or something?
i have an almost flawless record in school(never been to detention) and will my school chased after me for this call?
no investigation.police dont want to go out in hot sun to look at kids and crimes.they prefer to not have problems. only friend will get it....got her fingerprints????bag it.
if she rubbed it out.its ok...police wont want to disturb u unless its a few times from your cellphone.i bet the policeman was preying not to give him extra job by calling again.
no worries.they wont call back or take note even unless its a few times.if they didnt call back,it means they ignored your friends call.good as not calling.if she does it again, tell your form teacher and i gurantee your form teacher will skin yer friend;s ass.
form techer acts to prevent this from happening again.
best u grow some muscles and crush your frends hand when he tries to grab your phone again.....or attach a strong string to handphone.and when yer prankster tries it againb..pull the string and phone back!its magic:)
I found that childish. Unless it's consistent calls, they will see it as a prank and trace it.
well, you can explain to the police... about why you bashed the shit out of your so-called friend...
because he sure as hell isn't one... and you should stay the hell away from such childish people
I think you should explane your problem with police regarding with that topic .
"like"
Why you scare?
If the police follow up on you, challenge them to prove that you are the one who dial it la.
The phone number is yours, but that doesn't mean you are the one who dial it.

call police. report first to them your friend snatched your phone and just made a prank call. see if police will pursue or not first. remember to ask for the polcie officer's name and rank and station detials who attended to you. records your conversation. if police pursue - hmp your frienmd - this type of people no need to be a friend for you, in future will only bring you more trouble. if police say 'chill it cool it . - them so be it." but tell your frineds parent what your 'froend; did. so that heshe get the spank when heshe reach home.
Firstly, nothing will happen. The police will just let it go.
If the police, come up to you, it is very easy to explain.
Just tell the truth.
All calls to the police is recorded, they can hear it to verify your story. Even if nothing is spoken, they can hear to the noise and sounds.
You worry too much.
Put your phone in his bag during recess then go principal office report handphone missing. Just deny everything even if they use scare tactics on you because half the time its BS.

better be safe. not all police interpret the recorded 'evidences' as evidences. and don;t watch movies too much - sometimes routine cases are just 'work' to the policemen on duty. i say call police station to confirm first - also give the freidn a good workout.

No need to call the police, there may be nothing to it, and calling would be asking for trouble.
One call from a number they will ignore, if the number is repeated, they will act. The police 999 receive prank, crank, and children calls quite often, they don't investigate all of them. Only the serial callers they will track down.
