There were PRCs in Singapore in 90s, and Singaporeans had no bad feelings towards them.
But after PAP opened the gates in 2006, everything changed.

Some of them also like to criticize Singaporeans and constantly say we're a weak/lazy nation but the truth is those farkers have sold their dignity, respect, principal all for one farking work permit and they aren't hard working at all. They just live in fear of being sent back to their stink hole and will do anything to stay here knowing life here is a million times better.
You ask those of them who got sent back if they want to come back to sg ever and they'll tell you yes cause its a good place. You look at some of the PRC students who after graduation are going abck to their home counrty and you can see the sadness in their eyes.
