Teenagers nowadays are rude? Truth or Myth?

'Teenagers nowadays are rude' has been a common statment made by adults.
Firstly, by stating the word 'nowadays', this means that teenagers in the past were polite Is that true?
Secondly, are adults 'nowadays' polite?
Thirdly, are adults demand too much respect which they don't deseve? Imo, respect should be earned, not simply inherit(u should not demand more respect just bcuz u are older).

Well, everyone has to start some where to be polite, isn't it? If keep on fingers pointing it will get no where.

Cannot generalise. Its like saying, are all Japanese chicks chio bu? Of course not all. Got some ugly got some pretty.
So cannot say all teenagers are rude. Depending which country, how they are brought up, race, parents rich or not, etc.

i think people nowadays are less friendly unlike the 1990s and earlier. not just the younger generation but everyone in general. this country has lost its kampung spirit.
