Hi everyone, I am new to this so apologies if I ask some really noob questions.
My friend and I have decided to start a small company importing various select fruits from various countries such as South America, Malaysia, India etc.... We have decided that this company would be a partnership with me being the sole proprietor. We intend to start quite small by targetting a small group of people and having a small amount of stock being imported to test the market first.
I am unsure if :
1. I need to register a company officially under arca since I am starting something quite small to start(Smaller than most blogshops and I am not sure if blogshops do register).
2. I need any particular license to import fruits from these areas?
Thank you guys so much in advance!
1) Yes, You will need to register with ACRA as SP. The fee, if I remember correctly, is very low, less than $100. Registration can be completed within 15minutes as long as the SP name you choose is unique and doesn't contain sensitive or prohibited words.
2) Yes, you need license to import fruits. ![]()
Hi, I have a friend who wants to start some an business making and selling valve (tube) amplifiers for guitars. He says that he has a crew ready, and has someone interested in buying one amplifier.
My question is that do you think this kind of small time operation has to be registered as a business with ACRA? also feel free to offer any other advice and things
Yes, as long as you are doing a business, you will need to be registered with ACRA.
