Top 5 Android Apps for me
Hello every, I'm a beginner in here. Welcome to give me some advice.
There are lots of apps in the Play Store. The beginner for Android may confuse by so many apps.
Here I would like to share the most useful apps for me in Google Play. Welcome to share your apps with me and have some discussion.
Evernote:
I put a lot of important idea, meeting draft and other important information in Evernote on my computer.
The Evernote app on the phone let me able to see these notes anywhere.

Dropbox:
Although we can connect Android phone with a USB file transfer, but unless a large capcities file transfer need to use USB. I usually use Dropbox to sync file quickly and efficiently.
Or if you are not in front of a computer and you need to download the file into your phone, you could use the app to transfer the file to your phone quickly.
There are so many cloud file space apps in the Play Store, but I love the sync speed and UI of Dropbox.

TED Air:
TED allow me to follow the trend of technology all around the world. And the TED Air apps not only a useful app for widening our horizons but a good device for learning anothor language.
We can change the language setting to Chinese or English, and it would show the subtitle of selected Language when we watch the TED videos.

MX Player:

Basically, the "MX player can play all major video formats, for example. Mp4, rmvb,. Mkv, flv and so on.
Sounds very good!
Support for external subtitle is most powerful feature when we watching foreign drama with the family gospel (for example). Because most foreign film or HD tablets with external subtitles, I had only to sit in front of the computer before chasing play so that I could watch it anywhere!

WhosCall:
It's a new apps I found recently. It is definitely the best App ever for real-time caller ID in Google Play, and is beyond all praise in Google CEO
It's a useful block call apps especially for blocking the annoying calling from phone marketing and fraud during meeting and work , and it can tag and share the malicious phone number after registered.

I have evernote and dropbox.
Evernote is good for taking small notes. If you add in too many pictures or too many words in your notes, it becomes very unsmooth and laggy. This is what I don't really like about evernote.
Dropbox is good. :)
I also have Google drive app. But to open the files and download to your phone, it sometimes will hang due to format problems. So it's not really friendly for easy file access.
actual practicality for using technology to save money, annoy people and all that, i have to go with whatsapp and viber for connectivitiy without the $$
whatsapp (although can be said of viber) can be used to annoy my friends and others who have the same app by sending pics when they cannot turn up.. especially in the various makan sessions where we will bombard those who cannot turn up with pics of delicious food which they are missing...
we can also use the app to send text messages to those who live abroad without the stupidly huge costs of foreign SMS..
and viber allows us to use our data plans to speak to those abroad like it was a normal mobile phone.. which makes things a lot cheaper, free in fact, if we don't use up our monthly data (which we rarely do)
then with android apps, come the usual stuff like facebook and twitter.. we like to put up pics of places we've been to or stuff we like to take pics of, and then upload them.. i use MyAlbum for FB which allows me to load a pile of pics to specific albums or create them as i please...
for pics, as my phone does not support instagram, i use pixlr-o-matic for exactly the same effects.. and with the superb cmos sensor on my phone and an unskilled photographer like me, the pictures still do come out stunning with a bit of tweaking...
there are a pile of things to watch in the interwebs so when there is a fast and stable wifi, i use PPS to watch some movies... and for movies which are ripped, i found some files which MX player could not play so i went for QQ Player instead
for fun and stuff, i use Amuse which consolidates all the fun things like 9gag, FML, Engrish and rage comics into one app
as you can see, i'm not a hardcore user.. it's a phone for me and everything else on it is used for fun.. ahahahaha

Quick Note
MXplayer is a fantastic player, but if your android phone cannot decode with hardware, the software decode takes a strain on your processor and battery life.
Poweramp, best music player with equaliser combo.
Tubemate, download youtube video in 1080p hd quality
Hacker's keyboard, best custom keyboard for a large tablet, for those too used to a normal keyboard.
Lync 2010, I use it because my company is linked up, best way to converse with people back at office, without using the company laptop.
Since so many people recommand MXplayer, I should try it tonight or tomorrow
I paid for the pro version, because I hate the ads on screen. Machiam youtube.
Sweet! installed the free version one, quite neat looking app ![]()
I love the ''lock" function! Really useful cos sometimes my fingers will accidentally touch the back button on my phone. Awesome feature!!
