Going to lasalle to study, what should I prepare?

  Hi, my class going to start in 2 weeks time, I've seen a lot of the students using mac book pro/air, is it a must for me the get that mac book? Other than the laptops, what should I prepared? Thanks for helping out.

  get a macbook pro. video files are generally bigger so a pro can definitely do better than an air. 

  wait for your orientation to start, they might invite some of the laptop companies to set up booths and u might be able to get an offer. on top of that, listen to your lecturers on what software u will need. if i am not wrong, u can get a package deal if u buy as a student from the booth.

  u wont really need to buy the filming devices (unless u are uber rich and can spend), the school will lend it out to u when u need it.

  i am not that sure about dslr, so far i have only heard that it is compulsory for the photog students.
