Finding a lost friend in Singapore

  I am hoping/trying to find a Singaporean friend that I met here in the US.  But I don't have a lot of information.  Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.  

  Briefly:

  My friend (Vivi) came to the US in 2011.  Lives with aunt and wants to attend nursing school.

  Met in English language class in Boston, MA.

  Friend went home to SG in late April 2012 to see ailing Grandma.  Has not returned to US yet.

  Don't have email contact info.  Friend isn't on Facebook.  Only used mobile phone and text here in US.  

  I want to try and find my friend to establish contact in advance of my travelling to Asia later this year and to simply establish a way to communicate.

  I am looking for any ideas to circulate my story and possibly find my friend, or someone that knows her.  I know there is very little chance of success.  But it does not hurt to try.    So feel free to offer suggestions.

  hMM?!!!  Do you have her full name? Maybe you can do a search on Facebook using her full name.

  Get from the school.....-_- They have details there..that way you can contact the aunt..hope you're not some kind of stalker...

  No, not a stalker.    I know she's not a facebook member because we talked about that.  And the school doesn't have a lot of info.  Because we had a project to complete and needed to get in touch with Vivi and couldn't.  So I am left with trying something like this to maybe get in touch.  

  Who knows, maybe I will cross paths with someone that recognizes the description.  I don't want to tell all the details, because then I would not be able to know if I was in contact with the right person.

  Since you had a project to complete surely the school/lecturer/firm must know something about it so they could have granted her a leave of absence

  And like wise the school should have the information of the aunt since she she is the next of kin/contact....unless of cause...youre...

  She isn't a facebook user.  I can't imagine that she is on Twitter.  

  I went to the language school where we met and they looked through all the forms.  No residential address information.  Only a name (Vivi Low) and a US mobile phone number (which I already have).

  What I know and can find isn't much.

  Vivi Low (or could be Law)

  age 30+/-

  Christian

  Sisters in Japan and Taiwan as well as SG

  Lived in Boston, MA USA with her aunt in 2011 - 2012

  Grandma quite ill in late April and returned to SG

  So if that sounds like someone you know in Singapore, call them up and say that someone from the US is trying to contact you.

  if she is not a facebook user, most probably she does not use internet that often, it impossible to find her in social network site... there is hope if you know her ex-school, u can go from there..
