Noisy neighbor (lawyer) in condominium

Hi. I have a very noisy and inconsiderate neighbour that stay below my unit. They often have late night parties till 2am or 4am. They will drink, smoke, scream, laugh and play card game right below my window. I am living on the 2nd floor. We have tried on many occasion, called for police help but they will still continue to sing and drink till they are tired. They are laywers and the property management couldnt do much too change their behavior. I like to check if anyone out there knows how we can handle cases like this. Appreciate and looking for some support. I I am also surprise that professional like them can be so inconsiderate. All the more surprise that their guests will stay till wee hours to create those noise. Really no class individuals.

There is no way you can legally stop them. Its hard to prove unless the judge lives with you.
Only solution is move out. Go to johor and buy a house.

Didnt know that profession like laywers behave like this. It is a disgrace to their profession.

Are you the only neighbour complaining?
Make a written complain to the Management Office, and ask them what action they are taking. Make written records. Mention that you will bring this matter up against the Management in the AGM.
Meanwhile every time they party noisily, call the Security Guards. Next day, report to the Management Office. Do this everytime. Get your neighbour to do same. You give up, you lose.
You suffer, make the Security Guards, the Management Office suffer with you.
Or suffer in silence.

By clicking 'like' it does not necessarily mean that you have a neighbour problem. It simply means that you support the need for a law to protect residents in Singapore from such issues.We are a first world country but with seemingly third world grace, and it is surprising that we can be banning chewing gum, creating smoking corners and catching vehicles with modified exhausts because they are deemed 'dangerous' but we cannot protect ourselves from inconsiderate neighbours in our densely packed environment.

On top of reporting to management and security guuards, I think you should confront them nicely, maybe together with another neighbour. As lawyers, the resident should be reasonably educated and understanding!

nope don;t think so. may be just some PRCs who never live in HDB high rise estate before, plus their babaric behaviours. i think we should really look into the foreign labor policies, so what if they have so called skills, or are 'cheap' enogh for our bussiness to hire? if they are babarians and greedy savages then they will live like that and be a nuisances to the other sgreans here. -

those are for sho only. if we don;t have the open arse plocies to let in a lot of redundant labor - and trust me we don;t really need so many of those cheap - no skilled labors actually, then we will have lesser problems. MRT stations that are not underground, common sens etells in the first station build should have shutter doors already! chewing gum band is good, who knows with influx of chep labors it could have been worse with them chewing gum here!.smoking corners are for show and useless. only symbolic just like those thick brainless skull ours leaders have for show only. to have an effective smokin corner, you need it to be enclosed, and have exhaust pipe system to disperse the air at least several feet direct into the air above the conventional air draft. you can have so big and mny smokin point but with a achnageiin the wind direction, speed or strength, the whole bloody world can still smell the shit!

My singaporean neighbours and the foreign maids are good in making noise.
