Travel money requirement to enter Singapore

  Hello everyone, I plan on traveling to Singapore, I have a question hopefully someone can help me. Is it true that people visiting Singapore are required to carry at least 500 Singapore dollars to enter the country?

  if u wanna come to singapore for holiday, of course must carry certain amount of cash rite...if not come here for what? sg is not cheap, even for 500, i think can last u at most 2-3 days only...hotel/ transport bill who pay?

  it's depends, if you come here for sightseeing, $500 is just enough for eating and hotel... you can look for a cheap and budget hotel in www.hotelpadi.com if u came here to shop, you need at least $1500, but dun buy luxury brand, one authentic LV bags is about that price already hehehe...
