Can I pay cash for passport?

My passport has expired and I would like to apply for a new one, but I don't have visa card or master card.
Can I pay by cash for passport instead? Do they accept cash?

They didn't send you the renewal notice?
They know your passport is going to expire before you realise it. The instructions will be there.

last time they still accept cash nest payment. see now everydae lots of people apply this and that, until they have to throw the payments to bank transaction. don;t believe everyday you just go ICA building outside morening the queue is longer thatn a dragon, i say a few dragons lined up head to tail.
and all of them have the cheap foriegner face. not angmoh, but you know those familiar type of face -
(i) Processing Fees for First Time Application / Subsequent Renewals
The passport fee is:- S$80 for applications made at the Counter
- S$70 (after a S$10 rebate) for applications submitted online or by Post/Deposit Box
(ii) Penalty Fees for Loss of / Damaged Singapore Passport
If your current passport is lost or damaged, you are required to pay, in addition to the passport fee, the following non-refundable fee:- S$50 for the first replacement
- S$100 for subsequent replacements
(iii) Payment Mode

but I don't have credit/debit cards.
I have thought before of applying for those cards but my job doesn't earn much money and I am really tight in cash, I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up with those monthly payment of those cards.
Can I pay them cash? Do they accept cash?

When you want to renew or apply new passport online, you must have a credit card to pay. However, when you apply personally at ICA headquarter at Lavender Road, you can pay through nets during application. However, when you don't have enough cash to pay during application, you can pay cash or nets when you collect your new passport at the customer service counter. You can also apply or renew your passport at any Post Office but you must pay in advance either in cash, nets or by credit cards. I'm staying in JB for the last seven years now. I've renewed my passport and applied new passports many times. Usually, I go to the ICA Headquarter to do those tasks because it is faster than when I go through the Post Office. And I don't have any credit card for payment for online passport application or renewal.
