What I am thinking about is, are these type of people racist, or just plain stupid? Probably both, but in the case of Amy Cheong, is it fair that she lost her job because of it? I know that racism cannot be tolerated at all, and if someone was trying to stir up trouble, action should be taken against them by the ‘authorities’. Amy Cheong wasn’t trying to create conflicts between Malays and Chinese, she was just making racist comments and displaying her ignorance in the process. What she did was obnoxious and maddening, but I personally feel that it is not wrong. After all, the internet is the only free place left for humanity. I don’t agree with her stupid racialist statements, but I’m just saying that stupidity is not a crime. It should be a problem if she was spreading hatred or enmity between races, but she was not doing that. Someone had filed a police report against Amy Cheong. Again, I think that is overkill. Losing her job and drawing flak from hundreds of netizens should be enough punishment for her. The truth is, racism is wrong, but most of these people who post racist comments online are just stupid. Incredibly stupid.

Void Deck is known to the local, the journalist should be a foreigner. She is already been here 10 years and she should know the culture here. But, she did not expect to be play out by her own angry rant as she cannot sleep. It is just a small matter but blown out of proportion by the press coverage and unnecessary comments from people who are too free to tackle this small issues and keep ignoring the BIG and OBVIOUS problem. It spell big problem for the nation if the local are easily fanned by small issues and sidetracked on the bigger issues and problem.
