There's plenty of night classes for working adults. You will be able to get a diploma or professional certification.
You will be surprised how many older adults are students in those classes.
All the best.
There are a lot of cheap tertiary and twinning courses in malaysia. If you are malaysian citizen, you pay as low as RM50k for bachelor degree with Nottingham university (they have a campus in selangor). They also have a curtin university campus in sarawak. There are plans to build a heriott-watt university campus in KL. There is a medical college by Manipal university of India in KL too. In Sunway, there is a monash university campus.
Then there is this unitar, set up by the MCA. A lot of unitar mech graduates go to singapore to work these days.
Why study in singapore when you can enjoy the lower exchange rate in malaysia?
you shld go to he instituition with the course that you wanna take and just ask them directly... thats a better way of enquiry.

No offence, but there were a few negative reasons which I heard why not much people go to Malaysia :
1) Security : A few of stories like snatch robbery always happen along the causeway, and it is also not safe to even go to shopping at night.
2) Accreditation : Strangely "local" people will score very well even if their attendance is "up and down". (Due to what happen to that NTUC "lady", I would not be too direct here.)
3) Employer : It is well-known that in Singapore they will give priority to local university student, even if private student are accepted, they will not be well-paid than local U students, overseas degree would be depend on "case-by-case basis" after local U and local private degree holders.
If TS is interested, your best chance is to study in NYP, but the last time I heard, one of the requirement is you need 2-3 years working experience than you can apply for WDA 's subsidy, otherwise you can choose to go for MOE subsidy : http://www.nyp.edu.sg/professional-development-centre
If you choose to study part-time in Ngree Ann Poly, in case your Nitec GPA cannot make it, you just have to pay about $20 to take their entrance tests, and their poly is shortest time to complete their part-time diploma in 2.5 years, but also "siong" because this mean that you might need to take 3 lessons per week and I heard their lesson started from 6:30 pm to 10 pm ? Do do take notice that when you rushed for classes, you bound to be late due to traffic jam or human jam in MRT and of course not to forget if your Remedial Training for failing IPPT will also affect your lesson. Hope all these help !
