  This is my breakdown - 50% expenditure (food, transport, entertainment etc), 40% savings and 10%(insurance). But I don’t put my money in normal savings account though. The interest is crap. I put it in a regular savings plan with dbs - the account makes regular investments into a unit trust fund. Makes my money work that bit harder for me.
