As far as I know, Marijuana also known as Cannabis is very much a harmless drug or medicine if used under controlled or recreational purposes. Marijuana is a legalized drug in many countries and some US states had also started to legalize Marijuana for recreational use.
There are more positivies than negatives if Marijuana is legalized. Marijuana can be used as an alternative to harmful and addictive drugs like Cocaine or Meth. There will be less drug addicts in Singapore as a result!
Several US states had finally legalize Marijuana for recreational use in the General Elections on November 6. I hope the Singapore government can follow suit and do the same. I am for the legalization of Marijuana! Are you?
Cannabis used medically has several well-documented beneficial effects. Among these are: the amelioration of nausea and vomiting, stimulation of hunger in chemotherapy and AIDSpatients, lowered intraocular eye pressure (shown to be effective for treating glaucoma), as well as general analgesic effects (pain reliever).

But honestly, I dont see this happening anywhere in the near future. Unless it can generate income or research potential, Corporate Singapore ain't gonna budge. They can easily argue the flood-gate theory.
If it's going to happen, it should start off as some form of controlled administration of the THC/CBD to the terminally ill. Pharmeceuticals are not going to be very happy about that though. lol
