I think it is quite amazing that there is another real person inside of you, growing slowly, until it violently bursts out from the canal, like in the movie Alien.
Another thing that I think is odd is that the food you eat is turned into another person. Instead of converting the nutriments into muscle, flesh and your own body, it is turned into another person. Good god.
