Bring dog to Hawker Centre

Saw this commotion this morning. A family brought a dog to Hawker centre and dog shit on the table. Saw an uncle telling them that dog is not allow but they just ignore. Finally, dog shit on table and someone sitting next table got angry and start argument.

I think the only shopping center that allow dog to take a lift is at Nex.............
Had a culture shock when lift open...........3 Big Dog sticking out their tongue welcoming me............

I was there and witness the "fight". Being "kaypo" I asked the food stall lady and she told me in Hokkien" ya la..put the dog on table already so bad some more the dog "punk sai" (shit). People sit there of course angry lah...some more want to beat up people.

unless the dog is trained proper, then owner can bring to hawker centre usually no one complain. just people who don;t like dogs or fear their fleas and furs only. usually if dogs are toilet trained, obey owners' instruction to not sniff bite or wonder off disturb other people aroudn should be okay. but i think there should have existed rules at hawker centre on pet restrictios, some people dont lime them, some just fear them (come on this is natural), some are concern about hygiene that's all.
let mew know if any pee arse cees do this.

u should not bring pets like dogs to a makan place,one thing it's unhygienic another religiously offensive,some people only think of their own interest.they will say their dog well kempt and clean!

Whether or not your dog is clean or dirty, who cares! letting your dog rest on a table and shit on it..is disgusting! No respect for authority and people. (despite of the sign "NO Pets Allowed"). If I am the dog owner , i will just apologize and walk away in shame but this family choose to fight back! I have a dog too but I never bring my dog to makan place as it would bring discomfort to many ppl (whether is hygiene purpose or religiously offensive). I think dog owners should bear that in mind.

i've always held a view that if the dog owner cannot be responsible for their pet, they should be made to EAT the damned pet as punishment
and i am not kidding.. because if that was implemented, how many more problems with pets do you think we'd have?

should not bring pets out to public...unless u're bringing them for jogging etc. Esp hawker centres and shopping centres. There are infants and kids around who may be allergic to pet hairs or may be scared of dogs. its very inconsiderate to bring pets to places like these...

Hygiene reasons? Hurting feelings of others? Seriously guys? European Union has the highest standards of hygiene in the world. They allow dogs everywhere freely. In restaurants, in Metros, e.t.c. It's just an age-old law which stuck around. And yes, the selfish owners are the often the other reason.

SG govt dont allow dogs roam freely because of some religious issues.
