Best money changer in Singapore

  Hi all,

  Who is the best money changer in Singapore?

  Are they always better in Arcade than in other areas ?

   also I heard about a money changer finder website, does someone try it already?

  Actually, the chinatown one, unless you changing huge amounts, honestly, a few hundreds won't make a damn difference.

  So you go calculate if its worth travelling there, plus the damn long queue, might not be worth what you save. I travel alot, but only went there twice to change money coz its so inconvenient, but that was to change a really big sum.

  to help alleviate boredom while Q-ing, u can go buy a large cuppa koi and a 500g pack lin zhi yuan bakkwa to munch

  I think the rates in Arcade are pretty good. Do note that FX rates vary even among the money changers in Arcade. So you can shop for the best rates.

  I have never seen the rates in Chinatown, so I am unsure if they offer better rates.

  Like what Ditzy said, it matters little if you are changing small amounts, i.e. less than 20k. Don't swear it because of a few pips.

  Never hear about the online money changer finder. Do let us know how is it.
