Guys what do you think in which bank I should open an account? I consider HSBC just because I travel a lot and as I understood I can draw money from any HSBC ATM in the world without paying additional fees? (of course with some advance account type). On the other hand, how is the HSBC service like in Singapore?
definitely consider DBS. widely used in many countries and allegedly the safest bank in Asia. :P So far i'm their loyal customer :)
if u frequent HK and CN, err, obviously.
That's a misconception that you get free withdrawals just because it's a hsbc atm. I have a hsbc account myself but whenever i take out cash from other hsbc atms around the world, i get charged. It's only free in your home country. I agree..consider dbs. Very commonly used in Asia and good support as well. Check out the DBS bank deposit page, for their locations, rates, etc.
DBS rates are the patheticest of the pathetics
and i wonder when they started with all these sneaky adv
Don't know about their consumer side but i think their business and private banking are quite decent. Good permier service. So i guess the experience depends on what kinda customer you are to them?
