DBS transaction fees

I just received my first month of wired bank transfers from the United States into my DBS bank account and I was shocked to discover that DBS Bank actually deducted $20 for every deposit and they did the same thing for each of my overseas checks($21 per check)! I am livid now as I had spent a huge amount of time and effort into my online business and DBS Bank is getting a share of my pay checks! Maybe I could understand if a tiny fee will be involved cashing in money from overseas but $20 per transaction if just too much and DBS bank had so far deducted a total amount of $123! Is DBS bank trying to rip us off or cheat our money?

if ur cheque amt is "too much", then the handling commission is oso "too much" loh

Read and get the charges right before u do anything.
Have you ever considered opening a citibank account? Since you having dealings in US. -
I just checked with my bank and they told me that they only charged me fees for my checks and they had nothing to do with the wired transfers. I had also found out that those transaction actually went through American banks which charged me $20 per transaction. Those transactions probably went by T/T transfer which is the quickest and of course most expensive form of overseas funds transfer otherwise my money may take weeks to arrive! I will try to make more money to make up those fees before authorizing those transactions in the future. Thanks for your answers!!
