My friend say going to a polytechnic is useless.

He suggest people to apply for private diploma because it is only one year. He said rather waste one year than three year. Should I withdraw my polytechnic application and go for a normal private diploma instead?

Firstly, what diploma only takes a year to finish? How many modules you need to do in that one year that allows you to be awarded that diploma? If all diplomas so easy to get, then what the hell are those govt run polytechnics for?

polytechnic diploma is more recognised especially in govt or govt related companies.

He is my senior. He say until polytechnic is very lousy. He say go private school is faster as you graduate faster with less modules and credits.
Don't have to waste two more years in polytechnic. He scold all the polytechnic students are stupid and wasted two more years.
Normally, under what circumstances then people will apply for private diploma?

1 year in private diploma, 1 year in private degree. Total is 2 years.
Even faster than JC students. Win le?

your friend only 1 year learn wad as compared to one with 3 years n more modules??Its like a surgeon,would u choose a surgeon who only take 1 year to get his medical degree and 1 year experience to start operating on u?
or u want a surgeon who take 3 years to get his medical degree and 3 years experience to start operating on u?
u simi lausai diploma only 1 year with shallow limited modules exposure want to compare with a diploma with 3 years?

If I go polytechnic, work hard, fail to get into local university, must go private.
Got what difference with, I go private diploma, work hard, can only go private degree.
Btw, some people suggest I go local diploma. I regret not working hard in secondary school and ending up as an NT student.
