Bed Bugs ??

  Hello,

  I am a new resident in Singapore. I'm a student and I live on-campus. 

  Last week, I saw small (some had transparent bodies) bugs (around 10) on the edges of the white bed. 

  I freaked out and took a tissue paper and squished them in it. They had my blood!! Nasty creatures. Made my life hell in minutes.

  I took my bed sheets, pillow covers and washed them and dried them in the dryer two times. 

  I didn't want to sleep in that bed. So I took my newly washed bedsheets sprawled it on the living room couch and slept. Now there were no signs of new bugs in the bed.

  One day, In my sleepy state after finishing my assignment, I slept on the bed. 

  I found 1 bug in the morning full of blood. I took snaps of it and also kept that specimen so that I could show the authorities here. 

  When they came to check, obviously none were there because I haven't been sleeping on the bed. 

  And they are doubting if they are bedbugs at all.

  It's bed bug. Pour boiling water all over the bed frame so as to kill the bed bug eggs.

  best solution is get rid of your mattress and other stuff on your bed affected by it.

  it is not the bedsheet prob, it is the mattress

  IF want to solve the problem once and for all, best is throw away.

  my brother's mattress kena, he placed under sun.    bugs went away but then came back ....

  check at the edges of the bed etc. Their eggs would look like rice beads. 

  

  Killing one will give out an unpleasant smell

  it is also bad luck to have these and bitten by them.

   I, too, had this problem long time ago.     I threw everthing away.

  Ppl, if you buy any bed linen, mattress protector and on and on be careful to examine.

  Once, I bought mattress protector from John Little, I was about to use it and to my shock I found a bug.

  is TS's bedframe made of wood?
