Need Help Identifying Stuff

  I have an item shown in the picture.

  Its found in the waters along the boardwalk to sentosa.

  Need help identifying what it is the name we call it

  .

  is it some kind of water level sensor or device? any one can help identify. i just need the exact name. ditzy in this industry?

  hello. I cannot be too sure but I think it could be a LED beacon. does it light up at night? and are those solar panels? if it is, then I think it's a self-powered (solar) LED marine beacon. as the name implies, it's purpose is to provide light and hence aid to navigation for vessels at night. or to simply mark out the coastline.

  try googling as I could be wrong.

  next time if i happen to walk the boardwalk at sentosa again after dark, will take a look out at the waters.
