More than 35,000 people are expected to take part in Singapore's World Water Day celebrations on March 16.
Activities such as kayaking, dragon boating, cycling, mass walks and picnics will be held at 11 locations including the Marina Barrage, Jurong Lake, Lower Seletar Reservoir and Geylang River.
Among the highlights will be the formation of a giant water droplet by more than 3,000 people at the Marina Barrage, and mass yoga sessions there as well as at other locations.
The theme for Singapore's celebrations this year is Every Drop Counts. World Water Day is on March 22 internationally.

Singaporeans should play their part to conserve water even as the Government builds critical infrastructure such as the Marina Barrage, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Saturday.
Mr Lee was speaking at the barrage as guest of honour of Singapore's World Water Day celebrations.
He said that "sometimes cute and different ways" could be used to encourage people to conserve the precious resource.
One example, he added, was the recent Let Aaron Shower project, where a 19-year-old Singaporean pledged not to shower until enough people supported the conservation message.
this one always talk crap. crap talking ah dou
aiyah no use one lah. this type is one time off event for show only. while it might influence some, many more people are using water like they really can afford it.
i say the most effective way to let gahmen mainten certain amount of usageper day per month at a larger scale is
if househoold do not exceed certain amount of water usage at alternate bills when readings are taken and average out between two months (including the month readings were estimated), then give NTUC vouchers or next bill give some utilities rebate direct for saving water, not the GST credits or handouts huh.
if users use exceed certain amount, tax harder separately under water conversation.
