Hi,
In some countries, bed risers are available to increase the height of
the bed, mostly because of the need for more under-the-bed storage. See this: http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/08/97/86/37/0008978637046_500X500.jpg
Such products are not available in Singapore.
However, even if
they were, they would not be suitable for my bed. My bed legs are a
plank of wood (11 cm by 2.5 cm), rather than a
post (which is what can fit into the commercial bed risers). So I cannot just order those bed risers to be shippped to Singapore.
Therefore, I am trying to find out if I can get someone to custom make a set of blocks that I can place under my bed to increase its height. I am hoping to get concret blocks because they would be sturdy. So I guess I need to find a mason. But I don't seem able to get any meaningful hits when I tried googling "masons in Singapore".
Anyone who might know?
Thanks!
cheaper to just get a new bed frame

If your floor could be made lower, you would have more space under the bed. Or try raising the ceiling height.
Thanks for some of the genuine replies.
For the others: Are you afraid that people will think you are stupid if you keep your mouth shut, so you open it TO PROVE THAT YOU ARE?!!
maybe proportionate to the qn.
I swear my mouth was shut when I typed out my reply.
