Very much of the reasons of why our forefathers came here, are still relevant in today's Singapore.
Meaning if a war/crisis broke out, not necessarily in Singapore. but in their home country, or everywhere but not Singapore. It is still relevant to conclude that there is a possibility that these people whom have nothing left, would desperately compete with the locals for a place to stay.
and eventually have a say in Singapore. They could be very aggressive and eventually interfere with Singapore's politics.
Just like how our forefathers eventually compete for a place here with the native Malays when their initial intention was just to come and make a fortune and return back to their homeland rich. However, they eventually got to stay and participated in the movement for an independent Singapore.
Another example would be Israel. The Jews forcefully stay in Palestine, although there were actually only a small percentage there before Hitler took power and increases slightly after Hitler took power and increases rapidly after WW2 ended.
So inviting excessive foreigners into our homeland is ultimately undermining Singapore's sovereignty and ability to be an independence nation over a long period of time.

* some mistakenly believe Israel was form before WW1, when Britain sign a pact with the Jews, however idependence was not won, only after a few bloody battles that Israel as nation was born in 1948.

Whose fault that Singapore is losing her sovereignty? ---- is the answer: Those who pay themselves millions , the highest paid govt in the whole world?
Nope, our man in white is never wrong.. mistake if any are just an overslight.. the recent issues with the employing foreign workers after MOM cut down on the quota is just another plot to discredit what the opposition pressed for during their election campaigns which is cutting down on FTs but instead of doing a gradual lessening towards FTs demand and that is after MOM or some ministry warned about the impact of such a sudden cut.. but do they care? no they don't, all they want is just to discredit the opposition even at the expense of their own citizen's well being..

They will go and do at all costs for their personal gain and happiness. Obvious they are where they are to fulfill their own demands and desires, especiall the PM (Problems Maker).
They will never want to protect the employment of locals. Never will they do it. If we want see changes, we need to vote them out.
does singapore have a national identity? what sort of vision for the nation could immigrants of this country aspire to that would help alleviate fears of locally-born singaporeans losing their voice?

should we just keep quiet and let them ruin our dreams again and again. or should we try our best to vote them out by convincing the 60% with hard evidence, or should we just leave for good?
vote them out lah, they are the minority in this island, we are the majority.
Moreover they have proved to us too many times they are not taking good care of us.
There are a few group of reliable votes for the PAP, and I hope these groups would see this.
Just because they are receiving decent pay cheque as a Civil Servant, they vote along the PAP, afraid that they would be "punish" in some other way if they were to vote against PAP.
the future of Singapore is at stake, less than 3 million is native born, among them are children, elderly and women.
So I concluded that physically fit young man are around a million or even lesser, if we deduct those fat and overweight.
I estimate that there would be around 2 million physically fit foreigners here by 2030.
If something happen in their homeland, they would be labelled as refugee.
by then if Singapore's economy was to be affected, these group of people would never want to leave here, even if we forcefully forced them out.
and that is if we have the ability to do so, uniform personel are only in power if they are being respected. and reprisals could happen on our homeland to threaten us of allowing them to stay.
