  There are some Malays only. In the past, there were NSF personnel serving in the cookhouse, MT Line, QM and some were technicians. I think there are a couple of Malay pilots too now. In the Navy too there are some Malays NSF if I'm not mistaken.

  I think Singaporean Indians has no issues. Whereas for Singaporean Malays I see there are some issues. This how I see it. If there are more inter-marriages in Singapore....that racism issue will disappear as we move on.

  Ee Hoe Hean Club, you really make me laugh. I don't even see him like a Baba. I'm half Malay and half Chinese and I don't even see myself like a Baba. That Baba story is from the past, the past history of Malacca where they were originated. And about what you say about HLKY, that is for people who are crazy for power.

  I don't think this issue has to do with racism. It has more to do with doubts on loyalty of malays, according to Harry Lee Kuan Yew:

   

  • If, for instance, you put in a Malay officer who's very religious and who has family ties in Malaysia in charge of a machine gun unit, that's a very tricky business. We've got to know his background... I'm saying these things because they are real, and if I don't think that, and I think even if today the Prime Minister doesn't think carefully about this, I and my family could have a tragedy.

  Then what do you see Harry Lee Kuan Yew as? I see him as baba. That is the only correct way to see Harry Lee in my view.

  If you don't regard Harry Lee as baba, Singapore politics and history makes no sense.

  It becomes garbage. But once you regard Harry Lee as baba, everything makes sense. Everything becomes logical. 

  You can grasp and make sense of Singapore politics.

  My mother was Chinese. My father was Malay. Both deceased now. I for one do not see myself like a Malay or Chinese. In the middle perhaps. But when it comes to faith, yeah those mixed blood from Malay and Chinese descendants will identify themselves with whatever religion they were born into and their upbringing. This is my personal view and I for one do not identify myself to any religions or races.
