happy or not happy is a matter of choice.... be contented with what you have and you will be happy... don't just blame government, blame heaven and gods and everyone except yourself... you want to get something to be happy, then work hard for it...

call me a lunatic, i think gov today is not as bad as you think it is...if you consider all the things, economy growth, social security, living quality, financial system. yes, still a lot of area can be improved and loopholes to fix... yet this is a small island...everything, remember, it is everything that are super limited.

expand your horizon and exercise understanding and be realistic and you will know what has gone wrong.
Everything is not a living thing like the pap govt. Non living things cannot do anything, human beings like the govt has brain and heart to make things work. It is not wise to push blame to everything. Are you a small kid? It depends how the people involve are willing to make things work. I guess you are enjoying good life and cannot see the harsh reality and problems people are facing hence you cannot see anything wrong.

i am only a ordinary person with ordinary life not rich at all and bust my butt to earn the bread/milk. underprivileged ppl at the social bottom are struggling, a lot of ppl are making few hundres $$ a month, life is difficult. but come on no society is perfect and we need to put the our sight on the big picture... we harp on all the issues, but what's the solution? i mean constructive solution.. replace current gov? come on, do you really think the new gov will have all the answers??? if yes, all right, put it on table and let's discuss... gov today is still made of singaporeans and not intruders... do you think they dont care at all its own civilian and only sleep in parliment and wait the big payslip every month? Japan is changing gov like changing undergarment,,, but anyone can really turns around the slluggish economy? hv oppositioni is undoubtly good and a good incentive for gov to become better and can also utter a different voice which will help us become more dicerning, nothing wrong to vote oppostion, however, dont let the emotion cloud your judgement. if oppostion also can not comes up with realistic proposal/solution, what's the point to vote them? let alone their nob expereince. go sleep.. tmr got work.

I am not from Singapore. But i have been there. If you live in different countries, you can notice that Singapore is wonderful. Bad for you because you live in here and didn't see another countries.
But i admit, Singapore is so small. Maybe because of this reason, you feel bored.

happiness is not determined by wealth, i rmb Nigeria is once on the top place for ranking the happiest country.. -
Unhappy is the current state, Singapore is also one of the most pessimistic country in the world, they have no high hopes for the future as well. Sad.

Being happy or not is your own decision. We can only fing happiness under many circumstances. I am happy now, and I will fight for more happiness in the future. This is life. We can't expect things always go right, can we? Just put down the sad face and be positive!
