It's amazing how a simple play of word can change the whole perspective of people who are reading them. A negatively feel to something like "made in China" for example which before this represented a cheap knock off, copy-cat product has now reintroduced as "invented in China" which is being seen as a new era for Chinese tech start-ups that have already begin their invasion in the global market with brands such as Quros in the automobile department as well as Huawei in the telecommunication department. The question here is, how prepared are you to include these brands in your everyday life. Would you rather stick with what you know best, or ready to make a swap if they are cheaper and proven in quality?
Its ok for me to accept China brands. As long as its cheaper, better and reliable. Tech products are ok....recent years the QA/QC for China made products are ok liao. Maybe someday the big companies are all chinese ones (Hehehe!) and not USA anymore....
china quality is getting better...they make lcd tv...portable dvd player.....think its good as they last some time as long as its not food item

Our govt already accepted China born people to become citizens in this massive packed population tiny island..
china people says spore too small...they themselves dun wanna stay in crowded place too for long.
but all in all...china masde handphone ...modem...laptop....torch lights are better than 10 years ago as they last longer now n look better too.think if they continue like this...in 10 years time..their products will be like japanese quality.

However, simply used and throw, don't hope for quality.
Those Halliburton One luggage you think as branded as rimowa, are all made in China, even if they are sold in JFK airport.
North face bags and luggage are made in Vietnam, so if they are made in China they ain't the real deal.
One more thing, Samsung phones that say made by Samsung, and not made in Korea by Samsung, are made in China.
