First of all, I am straight and like to be straight. Although I do feel a bit weird or discomfort at sight of non-straight sex because I do not feel like a non-straight, however I do not view them as wrong, sin and evil. Rather I support their freedom to love.
The reason why I can view correctly is because of a scientific-minded. Deep seated prejudice comes from wrong religious beliefs, selective thinking and looking down on others, and there is nothing that you can do about it. The haze and hailstorm will be back years later. But do know that there are straights do study about it and support LBGT openly.
Secondly there are some really bad 'concepts' that may depress LBGT to low self esteem.
1) The mysterious never-ending karma messed up your sex orientation, so you are so messed up because of your past past sins in your past past lives. And then abnormal form of sexual relationship will bring you to never-ending birth and death cycle. What good, what workable and what effectiveness to good is such law that does not know letting-go and do not punish people at their point of their crimes when they live that life. The law is man-made and self-inflicting suffering.
2) God makes a man as a man, a woman as a woman. A girly man is still a man, and a tomboy girl is still a girl. Otherwise, you have sinned. Sure, be happy with the sex orientation that you want to be. If you are not that straight, but you want to straight, it is okay.
Whether you are living your lives with love for yourself and for others in this ironical money world, like-minded atheists can see without biased to your sex orientation you choose. So yours to freedom to love unlimited and don't be boggle down by nonsense.
