My fellow Singaporeans,
As I sit pensively thinking about the 48th birthday of our beloved country, I wallow in sadness about how those of us who spent most of our lives tolling and defending our country, now find ourselves marginalized in a country which is now overrun by foreigners, crowded and with a cost of living so high that we struggle just to make ends meet. Our founding fathers under the capable of our Great Leader had transformed a small island with no natural resources into a thriving nation state which continues to be then envy of our neighbors. Unfortunately the capable leadership team which our Great Leader had as a powerful nation building team has now been replaced by one which is a shadow of the former. Too many mistakes had been made and I fear that those are beyond reparation. What has become of our beloved country?
