Aircon Service Scam through Groupon Voucher: Tai Sun/ SG Air

I had my aircon service last Friday, 30 Aug using a Groupon voucher with Tai Sun Aircon Engineering, address 10 Anson Road, International Plaza 05-17. The invoice given was a different company name call SG Aircon Engineering.
After servicing I face issue with my aircon. I made many calls until Sat morning and a guy name Sam pick up ask for my invoice number but never call back. I decided to go to their business address on Monday and discovered that there is no company name Tai Sun but instead the address is for DPBureau. I ask them and there is no company registered as Tai Sun or SG Aircon under them.
The technician who came did a test survey where he say is necessary to check if aircon got issue. He checks pressure and says my compressor has no problem just not enough gas. Then he says my master bedroom aircon is dirtier and need chemical wash which is not covered in Groupon. He quote me 1 unit chemical and 1 unit aircon top up $160 and the other 2 units no charge as it is only a bit top up.
Then he say I better wash my compressor as it seems hot on the cover but at that time outside sun was scorching and only turn on 15 mins. He even say better to do everything properly so that I don't call them back and quote me half price. The total bill came out to be $200.
As you can see from the pictures, the aircon got even worst and water drip from the front badly. There is ice forming up at the compressor and a lot of water underneath.
After DPBureau receptionist call the same mobile number and told the guy to pick my call, I manage to talk to him but got a rude retaliation. He says ice forming is my problem and if I want him to go down I have to pay more for repair cost. He then added in Chinese who will do free for you sarcastically. When I question him on the illegal address usage, he denied and cut off the conversation immediately.
I alerted Groupon but they only apologies and give me a voucher refund. They insist that they have done a quality check on the company before featuring them and insist that Tai Sun has a mailing address at International Plaza. Groupon will not be responsible for additional payment to the merchant.
What had happen prove that Groupon quality check is questionable and to an extend of putting up a business address that is not legitimate and got online user like us fooled.
After what had happen I realise I was been scam. The lesson learn from this is not all online deal can be trusted not even Groupon. We can be the victim of such mis-representation that we think is credible and online deal site will not take responsibility.
I urge all Groupon user to reconsider using their service.
There are still few hundred users who bought this voucher who are not aware. The voucher is valid till 2014. Please help to circulate this article to all your friends.

This is the reason why I don't buy other things other than food on Groupon. If get cheated at most ten over dollars.
It is always the same case. There will always be something not included in the Groupon and u have to pay extra. What's new?
