Wearing smart casual on a budget?

  I have $150 to spend [that's all the money i have, i don't want to ask from parents T.T] and where can I buy smart casual clothes? I have nothing smart in my wardrobe, I only have short shorts, jeans, t-shirts and my school uniform.

  I think I need heels as well. hmm. $150 dress is indeed very expensive. I will at most spend $45 on a dress. No further.

  I dun think u shld buy heels....wif sg weather feels alittle tacky ..and u prob wont get much mileage....ever tot of flats?

  I recently had a similar problem, i bought a nice pair of black pants that could be dressed up or down! The best thing about this is that you can mix and match with many different tops and accessories. I would also advise a blazer or nice jacket. Dresses are good but they are only one look go for things that can added to or changed up a bit so that you can reware them often.
