Is selling ice cream door to door in Singapore illegal? If not can someone explain why?
Not illegal ,but you need to register with ACRA.
who got report these kids?
yes, sometimes it seems like irritating to knock the door. you need to have right to sell icecream.
Food stuff selling no matter is door to do or set up shop need license. its food. check with authorities. you need the food to be certified, you may also need a license to do the way you r business you doing. you may also need to bring along these permits or license and show them upon request. just like all other door to door sales people doing.
If anyone doing this job I suggest you look for another job.
Even if its legal, its very anoying job.
people really don't like to have knocks on doors from someone trying to sell stuff.
I have seen sales staff (usually a lady) from Yakult selling its product door to door and people who open their door and want it will buy from them. Not to forget boy scouts also visit door to door when their scout job week came.
Unless they transpassed private property or condominium which is not possible due to access card/key or security guard at the entrance, you tell me whether this is illegal or not?
The food you selling needs to be authorised. Otherwise, if something happen, it might not be totally your fault since the personnel has already authorised it(checked already).
I have no problem with people selling stuff door to door...
I only have problem when they cannot take "No" for an answer...
