Are there age restrictions for staying over in chalets?

  For example, is it legal for a bunch of 17 year olds to stay over at a chalet? I read somewhere that a person needs to be 18 to book/check-in but is it alright for 17 year olds to stay a night in a chalet without the accompaniment of any legal adults?
