  Is youtube too desperate for money? There are way too many advertisements and it is getting really irritating..

  Youtube is owned by Google, they don't need money. However, to keep it free for use to its billion of users, it has to defray operating costs, and the easiest way is advertising.

  Then you would argue, if Google is so big, why still need to defray operating costs? Because Google is a business, and a business that does not find ways to make revenue is called a charity.

  At the video there, they ask for feedback of the ad, i click "no" but they still continue the ad. So what's the point for them to ask for the feedback.
