I am currenlty sec 3 and in a sports CCA.
I was perviously in performing arts and didn't like it so after 6 months i could finally quit and join my current one.
At the starting was fun but after 2 years or so I am sick of it. Really hate the complusory nature of it, if I stop going cca and put more time to my studies will anything happen?
And I still get scholarship from the government every year starting of my secondary school life. Will if affect this if i WERE to do well in sec 3 (hopefully!!!)
btw, I am in NA stream aiming to go for the PFP in my sec 4 N'levels
Lets say i've archieve points during the year in sec 1 and 2. Does it meant it all goes down to 0 if i stop going? Or its an accumilation thing to sec 4 and so ?
so confused. I am planning to pioritise my studies cause next year confirm no time to chiong it all.
Plus I not sure if my parents would agree my way or doing and so as my friends..
What are some of your experiences?
Alternatively, you may want to change CCA.
When I was in secondary school, I know of peers and juniors who change CCA halfway, in sec 2 and sec 3. At sec 4, when our PE HOD let us see our CCA points, it turned out that their CCA points is either the same as mine, or higher.
Your CCA points will be affected if you do not attend CCA sessions. On a separate note, I know of someone whose CCA points was completely wiped out because he was absent from CCA for many times.
You should consult your school's CCA HOD (in most schools, it is the PE HOD) on this matter.
I think that you can change to other CCA which you are able to cope more. Cause i think it might affect your CCA points.
Actually ah , why not just continue to be in the performing arts CCA. The CCA points are very good and you can use it in case your N levels results not satisfying.
