  ah yes, topics that are more than 1 month old (ie, the latest post is more than one month ago) are considered 'expired' and cannot be posted to anymore. This is to prevent the old problem of 'topic diggers'.

  Maybe you guys can try using the sticky function to create a guestbook for your forum! That's wat we did for Urban Legends
