Hi had been working in a shop for 3 week only but my O level exam is near how to quit the job so that I can still maintain good relation with the manager as I plan to work here during the holiday again, doe anyone had any experience?
i would just explain the situation to my boss and let him or her know that i've been very appreciative of the opportunity but is unable to continue at the moment as i have a major exam soon. honesty and sincerity can work wonders.
why bother to start work when u noe ur Os are coming
if next time u go back to work again then when sch reopen again u need to leave again then the manager got to find someone else again
tts very troublesome again, rite

Honesty and sincerity are the best policies.
yes, that is what anyone who do..honesty
just be honest to your boss and im sure he will understand it.
being honest is not enough, give your boss enough timing to do some preparation without you. Don't give 24hrs notice.
Just resign with company required notice period lor
Tell them honestly is the best.
honestly say the reason why you wanna quit the job, find a job which suit you

Tell your employer you cannot work from now until end-November because you need to study for O level. He will definitely understand and let you go. If he wants evidence, just show him (a photocopy of) your entry proof.
If you still need/want that job, tell the employer to call/SMS you (on your mobile phone) after 16 November, so that you can forget about it now (and focus on O levels) and can continue to work after O levels. Most likely the employer will want to hire you again only at around the start of December, as it may be easier to do the accounts.

always tell the truth your o level exam is coming
Be honest with the manager. As long as you have been doing relatively well in your job, they should be receptive to having you back.
You'd be surprised that your manager will be more than understanding. They understand your commitments as a student and will not expect you to prioritize a part-time job over your studies. I'm sure he would love to have you back :)
It's perfectly fine to quit your part-time job when your O level's exams are near the corner. If you do not want to tell your manager face to face, you can also choose to text him/her. Of course your manager will understand your situation if you explain to him/her clearly. You just have to tell him that you need to manage your studies as you are having a major exam so you will not be working for how long. Then tell him when you will be coming to work after your exam. Hope you understand what to do and good luck for your exams!
No bro
say you have important life matters to attend to.
lol just tell ur boss u need work for ur relative!
Any update on what happened?
I think everyone is right. Tell your boss the truth. No need to be shy.
Just write the letter. Thanks for the opportunity, but you just received a scholarship and this makes it possible for you to devote all your attention to your studies. That's it. No need to mention any of that other stuff.
you can just tell your boss directly!
