  WhatsApp Now Confirms ‘Message Read’ Status with Blue Colored Tick Marks

  The ever growing and hugely popular messaging platform, WhatsApp has added a simple, yet very useful and much requested feature. After sending a private message to a contact, you will know once the message has been read. WhatsApp used to confirm the delivery of the message with grey colored double tick, but now, the blue colored double tick confirms that the message has been opened by the contact.

  Latest update allows you to disable this function, similar to disabling your "last seen" function.
