What are your views on Singaporean men seeking mail order brides from third world countries such as philipines and china ? My peers who are single rationalise this from a demand and supply point of view , it is cheaper to date and buy a wife from overseas who an do housework , young , vigins, innocent and have little personal opinion . Beig a woman , I really feel shocked ... Is this all a man wants in a wife ? A sex toy cum housemaid ?

This is good for men who have great difficulty in finding a wife. Best for men who look upon wives as products instead of looking upon wives as human beings.

TS you go do a survey if our local men will prefer mail order brides.
For men looking for order brides from third world countries to just hv wives to do washing, cleaning n housekeeping can consider employing maids to be wives save $. This type of men don't need wives, all they need is just maids.

This kind of thing would lead to abuse or modern slavery upon the mail order brides....

Who say mail order brides must wash cook clean. There's no contractual agreement to do those chores.
If you don't treat them well they will still leave you.

Maybe I wish to clairfy ; the mail order bride is not the traditional type where you just buy through an agent . Rather proactively going to the women's country of origin to pick up bargains . The guy wants 10s , in Singapore he can only get 4s . In foreign county he can date 10s... Pure arbitrage . He dates the women over a period of time together with a translation tool at hand . I just feel this borders on exploitation of women and yet the women are willing parties . This is the part I am unable to really understand but I guess it's just a sad materialistic world we live in .

Otherwise just stick to the normal dating site will do : http://www.singaporelovelinks.com , http://www.amoladies.com , http://www.chnlove.com , http://www.asiadatematch.com . Mail order bride seen to be too rush in relationship then marriage, you may never know when conflict will happened in the future.

I do read somewhere that some 'desperate' ladies who want to use marriage to immigrate or for other of their important reason and post some 'lively' video or image of themselves that why it gave an wrong impression for these mail order bride.

It's more of a last resort thing in my opinion.Men whom cant find a significant other as they age would often turn to this
