Well that pretty much says it, rite? U may fantasize of the best ending in a movie, but in real life, time and tide waits for no man...
if i were the director, i would've said the guy waited fer ages under the tree..the old ah chek would be him sitting under the tree...then he sees a gal who looked like her...the final moments would be the old man telling his story to the gal as the cam focuses away from the duo and the tree... -
