I hear a lot where I come from and like to go on internet to escape hoping I can keep my mind sane. Nowadays there's a bit of epidemic flu, feeling is same as stress :(
Your suggestion work on normally. :) I have absurd idea. Lowering stress by blasting radio thinking home is disco and wave your hair around. Marcus' idea never grow old.

A couple of ways i relief tension (in my humble opinion) -
Running, jogging, turn to tire.....
I just go punch a wall wwhen I'm super stressed, super pain but I don't know why it works for me :D
