  Just wanna know if it's possible? Because I was rly feeling unwell the other time and had to waste $$ going to the doctor twice

  Can, make sure to look and sound very sick, and ask for it. I got 3 days MC before too

  The best thing to do is to tell the doctor the truth. Tell that you feel sick, very stressful and very exhausted because of your work or school. You really need rest for 3 days....be frank and honest about it with the doctor....normally the doctor will give you. I did that in the past when I was working full time in Singapore.

  In addition to seeing a doctor, you may also need to take care of your health. For a start: focus on getting enough rest, eating nutritious food and engaging in light physical activity.

  Yeah totally possible.  I got 10 days for Epilasik, a week for chicken pox and 3 days for wisdom tooth extraction.
  
  But if you are referring to more 'common' ailments, generally you gotta ask the doctor for it. Have done so for gastric flu and very bad food poisoning, and the doc was kind enough to grant my request :)

  Its completely possible, ive been able to request the length of my MCs before, although then again I had been going to the same doctor for years. Just dont ask for something dumb like 14 day mc for a flu

  normally, western doctors can give 3 days mc, but due to the chemicals and side effects, i stopped going to polyclinics/family clinics. 

  i usually go to the chinese medicine hall at Thomson CC, but there only give 1 day mc. previously i was so sick that i was sick for 3 weeks after track meet in sch, and i visited western, and they gave me 3 days MC. however my sickness worsen so i changed to chinese medicine which cured me, but takes a long time, so i need MC. my sch changed principal and that prinicpal so demmanding, cannot give more than 1 parent letter per term, which means almost for all days i need to get MC. total spent about $300+.

  My suggestion is that, if you want longer MC, go to western doctors, dont go to those chinese medicine hall.

  Doesn't matter about what kind of illness you had. Private Clinic you are able to request for 3days mc. only government cant as they are restricted.
