  yah.. that's the type... got it as a present

  but mine needs sharpening soon.. it's used for skinning and cutting up the eskimo's food like seals and stuff like that
  
  the shape of the knife helps them control it and apply the maximum force so that the cutting edge cuts well exactly where it is supposed to
