I usually take the bus and noticed that if u look carefully, there are a lot of chio bu's around!I really like to be friend(friend only!) with them but I very scared to talk to them.(yah bf will come and bash u up)

Two things: must be yandao and suave... Sounds simple? Yet, not many guys have BOTH assets. Once you're ugly, three-quarts of the battle is failed. And if you don't even have that suaveness, maybe you should consider joining priesthood altogether?

For those guys who still believe in the fairy tale that girls don't go for looks are gonna be grievously disappointed. Maybe if you have a certain intelligence, skill or ability and you know this chiobu in that same field as you're in.. but when you're outside in public, on the bus, MRT or in the clubs, WHICH GIRL/GUY ACTUALLY GOES FOR INNER BEAUTY? As if it radiates when you're out there and all these people have bionic eyes to turn you inside out. The truth is, it has always been the façade. And when you're out there, nothing matters more than the face you display and the face they see.

and she droped all her books and notes on the floor... then... he helped 2 pick up her stuff(as well as tried 2 pick her up lahz.)
but AMAZINGLY it worked.. he chatted with the gal of 30 mins on the bus and EVEN GOT HER NUMBER!!! (but onlee works if she carrying stuff like tht lahz)

well if u want to attract a chio bu to talk to u, i think the first impression is very important, ie u must be reasonable looking.
of course u can always try ur luck by introducing yourself, if she respone than try to be sincere but please don't sound desparate. if she doesn't respone, u should know what to do lah..... F.O. before u get embrassed by the situation -

Chio bu feel extra chio because desperate guys like us boost their ego.. they know they are getting tonz of attention and a whole busload of drooling men want to know them. The chance to know them is slim, mebbe unless u are Takenouchi, Aniki, Tom Cruise or something in that class.

Hey!..no sane girls will look at a guy whom she is pissed at for more than 3 secs..they will try not to have any eye contact with them unlike she is an Ah Lian. What is this POTENTIAL? Lets say, if you're a President Scholar, PSC Scholar, scoring 4As and 2 distinctions for your S Papers, on the Dean's List, Honour roll, have your own IT company at the age of 21...yeah, THAT kinda thing.
The abovementioned types have what it takes to give the girls a 'good life' when they make it big...and believe me, they WILL make it big.
Normal Joes like my friends and I usually have no chance bec we i)skip lectures ii)have no idea when to hand up that Project iii)play too much pool iv)still on week 4 tutorials when the Lecturer is on week 8...etc.
So when girls say that they do not go for looks, BELIEVE them. They go for POTENTIAL (see above).
But I firmly believe that I will not be 'average' all my life.

One thing that comes to mind abt singaproe gals, esp 'chio bus', are that most of the time they act cool, bueyhiaobai? like cryogenic say, they think they very goodlooking thus got a certain 'reputation' to maintain, hence the ice maiden facade.
I've been to Taiwan, Japan before. All I can say is that the girls there are much prettier. And furthermore, they are APPROACHABLE. Yup, the gals over there are very friendly! Not in a sexual kind of way, but just pure friendliness. They can just talk to you anywhere! Down the aisles of a shop, along the road etc. No icy looks, 'tao' faces at all! Perhaps it's because I'm a 'foreigner' there, but still I think singapore gals can learn a thing or two from their Asian counterparts..... -
